Director's Statement

My goal for this film was to capture the anxiety of a toxic relationship which can take many forms but is an emotional rollercoaster that many of us can personally relate to. For young adults we have the pressure of transitioning to living independently which many people are not prepared for. The dynamic between these two characters is meant to show two sides of dealing with these pressures and how they translate into an unhealthy relationship. While these characters have ambitious life goals, they have very little strategy to accomplish them. Rationality vs. irrationality. Selfishness vs. self sacrifice. The decision for what is most important to one's self is a question both these characters must answer.
